Trustly achieves ISO 27001 certification

ISO 27001 is a global information security standard that sets out requirements and best practices for effectively managing information security risks, with the aim of protecting sensitive customer data and ensuring business resilience.

Stockholm (Sweden), January 31, 2024 – Trustly, a global leader in innovative payment solutions, today announces that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) in Europe, following a thorough independent onsite audit. The certification reaffirms Trustly’s commitment to information security and customer trust.

ISO 27001 is a global information security standard that sets out requirements and best practices for effectively managing information security risks, with the aim of protecting sensitive customer data and ensuring business resilience. In order to achieve certification, a company must prove that their information security management system meets ISO 27001 requirements and can demonstrate its ability to manage data owned or handled by the organisation safely and securely. This ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and overall security of business and customer information.
